Is CMA India as good as CA and CS?

Yes. CMA India is equal to CA and CS in statutory status and recognition. The difference is in specialisation—CA focuses on audit and tax, CS on corporate law, while CMA India specialises in cost audit and management accounting, making it highly relevant for corporate roles.

Is CMA India respected by MNCs?

Yes. CMA India professionals work in MNCs, global consulting firms, shared service centres, and manufacturing companies, especially in FP&A, costing, budgeting, and management accounting roles.

Why is CMA India less known compared to CA or CS?

CMA India professionals work largely inside organisations in costing, pricing, and decision-making roles, unlike CA and CS which are more visible due to statutory practice and compliance work.

Can I pursue CMA India along with ACCA or US CMA?

Yes. CMA India provides maximum exemptions in ACCA and has strong conceptual overlap with US CMA, making it an excellent foundation for global finance certifications.

Is US CMA really possible in 12–18 months?
